We closed on our new home in the center of the city. I have always dreamt of the opportunity to renovate a historic home and this is feels like a gift. Here's the house:
It's been boarded up for several years and has a moldy basement. Greg & I dubbed it "Mold Palace" when we first noticed it. And now, Mold Palace is all ours. In the words of our realtor on closing day, "Congrats. You two now own a moldy, uninhabitable shell." Yes, yes we do.
Just look at the happy suckers.
Perhaps the rainy, miserable weather on closing day was an omen. Time will tell....
